AOÇ is an abbreviation of Atatürk Tree Farm, founded in 1925 in a barren, swampy site near Ankara by Atatürk. This facility examines and teaches modern methods of farming and husbandry. A simple tree-like font was created for a logo competition. However, the jury chose no finalist, so the original one is still in use.
